Not commonly seen in the hobby the Red Fairy Anthias is a very special fish. When seen under 6500K lighting it appears a drab orange but when kept under more conventional reef light in the 10,000-20,000K region this fish comes into its own. With pink stripes running down the length of its body.
Males have a faint stripe behind their gill plate and appear larger than the females. Only one male should be kept per tank.
All Anthias need feeding multiple times a day to achieve the best results.
