Reef Boron is the best way to replenish the boron element in marine aquariums. It brings benefits on the pH stability as it increases buffer capacity. Where this element is lacking, it stimulates formation of chromoproteins responsible for the coral pigmentation, especially for the red/pink color.
Recent studies noticed that the right amount of boron can promote a higher calcium adsorption by corals.
For its preparation are used only very pure borates salts. Thanks to its purity, a prolonged use will not negatively affect the water quality and the result are healthy and colorful corals.
Use:
The value of boron in natural sea water is 4.6 ppm.
You can use Reef Boron simply adding to your tank 1 ml of product every 100 liters 1-2 times a week or when necessary.
Otherwise, to achieve better results, do measure the quanitity of boron and use our software to calculate the quantity of Reef Boron to be added to stay in a range of 4-5 ppm. If the initial value is below 4 ppm, subdivide the doses to add no more than 13ml/100L every day.
10 ml of product will increase the calcium value of 0.38 ppm in 100 net liters.
